Izuku's wardrobe malfunctions were almost a running joke at the agency; no matter how hard the R&D staff worked to make it combat ready, with enough gadgets, improved fabrics, and padding to rival something the SDF would wear on a normal day, it always seemed to tear like tissue paper every few months. 

Honestly, he was lucky that so much money went in their agency's Support team, or else repairing his tattered suits would have started getting taken out of his paychecks by now.

"I think I lost count after the fifth or sixth."

For as long as they were together, Shouto's gentle fingers always made Izuku shiver like he was touching him for the first time. His forehead buzzed where his boyfriend's lips touched, and warmth spread from his face to the tips of his toes.

Even after a few years, being with him like this never got old. 

Izuku hummed softly and leaned into him.. 

"It was near the end of my patrol, and I got a message about a potential disturbance over by the Musutafu Art Festival. So I went to see what was going on."

He closed his eyes.. 

"I get there and see one of the vendors screaming at a kid. Apparently the kid told him that his katanas were low quality, and that he was openly scamming people. I tried to defuse the situation, but the guy wouldn't back down. He actually grabbed a weapon from his stall and tried to get past me to hit the kid with it. I kind of...tanked the first hit, as you can see."

Shouto frowned as he listened to the story, and a slight scowl slipped onto his features when he heard about the man actually slicing at someone with the katana. If he'd been there, he'd probably have frozen the guy in an ice statue. He really didn't like people targeting children.

"It's good you were there to protect him. And I'm glad it doesn't seem like the man was out to cause serious harm." He set about cleaning the wound first even if it wasn't very deep, running a wet sterile cloth over it, just to make sure it was as clean as it could get, keeping his touch gentle and soothing.
