[He'd been doing okay, thank-you-very-much. At least two thirds of the groceries were put away, with the cold stuff done first and the not-immediately-perishable still sitting on the counters.
The cucumbers had almost made his brain spiral back into the Earth's crust, but with some good focus, he got back on track.]
Oh, hey. Have a good shower? I'm almost done here.
[Kacchan looked...more relaxed now. It was nice. His hair was still a little damp, glistening in the light in such a way that made him want to touch it a little. How was his hair always able to stay up like that, just in the way Kacchan liked it? If Izuku tried to 'tame the rat's nest', so to speak, it turned into a mess of curls, and when he got out of the shower, he tended to look like a wet poodle.
He didn't give in to that temptation, though. Instead he turned towards Kacchan, smiling a bit.
That space was good. Gave him time to think. Calmed down his hormones.
...Okay, so sticking his head in the freezer for a few seconds did, in fact, help a lot more than he thought it did.]
